40 years ago, Brighter Tomorrows, Inc. began as a grassroots effort in 1983. A group of concerned women came together with the shared purpose of providing refuge to victims of domestic violence. Three years later, Brighter Tomorrows became the first New York State-licensed 19-bed domestic violence shelter in Suffolk County, NY. The agency has expanded services to include counseling, financial literacy, advocacy, and transitional housing for victims of domestic violence, human trafficking victims, and women recently released from jail.
With your generous support, Brighter Tomorrows, Inc. will be able to raise capital funds to help build permanent transitional housing for victims seeking housing.
