Bilingual Court Advocates assist survivors through the duration of their court case with the following:
- Obtaining Free & Low-Bono Legal Representation
- Referral to Brighter Tomorrows Staff Attorneys for Family Court and Orders of Protection
- Referrals for Divorce cases
- Referrals for Immigration cases
- File Court Papers
- Orders of Protection
- Child Support/ Spousal Support
- Custody/ Visitation
- E-Petition Service
- Court Accompaniment
- Additional Community Referrals
Remote Services
Advocates can assist domestic violence survivors over the phone with submitting orders of protection, custody, and/or child support petitions from any location. All the survivor needs is a phone and a private space to have sensitive conversations.
